Terms & Conditions. Please review the terms governing every service provided by Lovely Moving & Storage LLC.

These Terms & Conditions govern all moving, storage, packing, transportation and related services provided by Lovely Moving & Storage LLC. By requesting an estimate, paying a deposit, scheduling services, signing electronically, or allowing services to begin, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

We believe every customer should understand exactly how our services, payments, cancellations, liability, storage and moving policies work before moving day.

Estimates & Quotes

All estimates are based on the information provided by the customer.

  • Quotes are valid for 24 hours unless otherwise stated.
  • Inventory, address, storage or service changes may result in updated pricing.
  • Lovely Moving & Storage LLC reserves the right to revise estimates when information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.

Deposits & Reservations

  • Minimum reservation deposit: $50.
  • Moves exceeding $2,000 may require a 10% deposit.
  • A reservation is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
  • Failure to pay the deposit may result in loss of pricing or availability.

Payment Authorization

By providing payment information, the customer authorizes Lovely Moving & Storage LLC to charge approved moving, storage, transportation and related service fees.

  • Long carry fees
  • Stair fees
  • Waiting time
  • Other authorized charges

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Deposits are refundable when cancelled at least one business day before the scheduled move.
  • Cancellations within one business day are non-refundable.
  • Weekend moves must be cancelled before Thursday business hours.
  • Refunds are generally processed within five business days.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.
  • Peak moving periods may have additional restrictions.

Additional Inventory

Additional items not included in the original inventory may result in revised pricing.

  • Additional charges may apply.
  • Payment approval may be required before loading.
  • The Company is not obligated to transport undisclosed items.

Long Carry, Stairs & Access Fees

  • Long carry fees may apply beyond 150 feet.
  • Charges depend on distance, labor and volume.
  • Maximum long carry fee: $300.
  • Additional stair fees may apply.
  • Customers are responsible for disclosing access limitations.

Parking & Permits

Customers are responsible for obtaining required permits, elevator reservations, loading dock reservations, building approvals and parking permissions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Fuel & Mileage

  • Quotes include fuel and mileage based on the original route.
  • Destination changes may result in additional charges.
  • Additional mileage exceeding ten miles may incur extra fees.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate inventory.
  • Provide accurate addresses.
  • Reserve elevators where required.
  • Obtain building approvals.
  • Provide COIs when required.
  • Ensure safe property access.
  • Be present during pickup and delivery unless otherwise agreed.

The customer is responsible for transporting:

  • Cash
  • Jewelry
  • Passports
  • Identification
  • Medications
  • Firearms
  • Important records
  • Family heirlooms
  • Irreplaceable items

Packing Services

  • Packing services may be provided for an additional charge.
  • Customer-packed items travel at the customer's risk.
  • Additional packing materials may be required for fragile items.

Fragile Items

  • Fragile items include glass, mirrors, artwork, antiques, marble, electronics, lamps, and collectibles.
  • Additional protection or insurance is recommended for high-value items.

Furniture Assembly & Disassembly

  • Basic disassembly and reassembly may be included where applicable.
  • Company is not responsible for manufacturer defects or pre-existing weaknesses.
  • Specialized assembly may incur additional charges.

Electronics & Televisions

  • Electronics are transported at customer’s risk unless damaged by visible handling issues.
  • Original packaging is recommended where available.

Prohibited Items

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, hazardous materials, illegal substances, live animals, perishable goods, and flammable items are strictly prohibited.
  • Company reserves the right to refuse any item deemed unsafe or restricted.

Valuation Coverage

Standard valuation coverage is provided at $0.60 per pound per article unless otherwise required by law. This is not full replacement insurance.

Third-Party Insurance

  • Must be purchased prior to moving date.
  • Company is not responsible for managing third-party insurance claims.

Pre-Existing Damage

  • Company is not liable for pre-existing damage.
  • Items and property conditions may be documented before service begins.

Claims Procedure

  • All claims must be submitted within 90 days of delivery.
  • Claims must include supporting photos and documentation.

Long Distance Services

  • Moves up to 500 miles are serviced directly when available.
  • Longer distances may be handled by licensed third-party carriers.

Storage Services

  • Storage is billed monthly and is non-prorated.
  • Unpaid balances may result in lien, auction, or disposal as permitted by law.

Contactless Moves

  • Customers remain responsible for access instructions and communication.
  • Electronic signatures may be used for authorization.

Safety & Right to Refuse Service

  • Company may refuse service due to unsafe conditions, threats, or risk.
  • Final safety determination is at Company discretion.

Referral Program

  • Referrals earn 10% of completed move invoice.
  • Payment issued after full completion and payment of referred job.

SMS & Communication Consent

  • Customers consent to receive calls, SMS, and emails.
  • Message and data rates may apply.

Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Customers agree to attempt resolution before initiating chargebacks.
  • This does not limit legal rights under applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

  • Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Liability is limited to applicable valuation coverage.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, along with any estimate, invoice, or service agreement, constitute the full agreement between the Customer and Lovely Moving & Storage LLC.

Lovely Moving & Storage LLC respects your privacy and protects your personal information. This policy explains how we collect and use your data.

  • Information collected: name, phone, email, addresses, billing data, move details, IP, device data, cookies.
  • Usage: service delivery, scheduling, payments, communication, fraud prevention, marketing.
  • SMS/email: service updates, reminders, promotions (opt-out available anytime).
  • Payments: processed securely via third-party providers; we do not store full card data.
  • Sharing: only with service providers (carriers, storage, payment processors, insurance partners).
  • Security: we use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • Cookies: used for analytics and site improvement.
  • Retention: data is kept as required for legal, operational, and business needs.
  • Rights: access, correction, deletion requests may be submitted via contact info below.
